When I hear Mars, I think Martian. Who wouldn’t like to meet an alien? Recently, scientists discovered dozens of dark slopes across Mars’ southern hemisphere that may be salt water, but they are not certain. Where there is water there might be life. Lujendra Ojha, a junior at the University of Arizona, noticed the slopes in images sent by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. She also observed that the streaks change with the seasons. We may be closer to answering the question, is there life on Mars?
