A new study by NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies shows that the 12 months from August 2009 through July 2010 make up the hottest year since measurements began about 130 years ago. More importantly, the study confirms that the Earth continued to heat up as quickly in the last ten years as it did in the 1990s.
