So far this year, more than 841 manatees have already died in Florida, according to the Associated Press. That’s 11 more than the previous record high in 2013, which was for the whole year. The manatee deaths have mainly been due to starvation, caused by Florida’s dwindling seagrass population. Some biologists believe that pollution is responsible for killing the seagrasses.
The Department of Biological Sciences at Florida Atlantic University explains that excess nutrients in the water, caused by sewage and fertilizers, results in an influx of microscopic algae. This algae, otherwise known as red tide, kills off the seagrass, leaving manatees with nothing to eat.
Conservationists are now urging for manatees to be declared endangered again, after having been removed from this status in 2017.
This is a problem caused by the human and will be stop by the human too.
The industry and society are a big problem for the earth and the years continues and they don’t stop.
I agree with the conservationists that it’s urgent to inform the population that the seagrass population mainly the manatees are in danger caused by humans actions.
So we have to take precautions for help them to be in a better environmental condition by avoiding the sewage and fertilizers, this can decrease the influx of microscopic algae who kill the seagrass leaving manatees with nothing to eat.
As we can say a holy body in a holy environment.
the people should be more aware what they do in terms of nature, becouse we are killing thousands of animals.
In my opinion the manatees needs to be care because they are in danger extincion ,so The biology in Florida need create a form for save the manatees .

The main idea in the paragraph talking about the extinction of the manatees so in my opinion they should start with a treatment process for them and the this form takin care of the environment.
i am sad to hear this new ,we must take measures against pollution so,that certain breeds of water animals do not disappear anymore
This isn’t okay! We should be accomplishing more to help Manatees and animals in general! Thanks for making us aware of this!
