Under pressure from people concerned about kids’ health, McDonald’s announced that it will change its Happy Meals starting in September by adding fruit and downsizing the fries. This will reduce calories by 20 percent. The Happy Meal with a toy will still be banned in San Francisco because it isn’t healthy enough for the city’s nutrition standards.
