Judge Orders End to Don't Ask, Don't Tell

On October 12, a federal judge ordered the U.S. Military to end its Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy, which does not allow people who are openly gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender to serve in the military. The Department of Justice can still challenge the ruling to end the 13-year-old policy.
