Many laundry soaps contain chemicals that are harmful to people. Try this natural and inexpensive recipe to make your own laundry soap. Kids should wear a mask or light scarf to protect nose and mouth.

Ingredients:

1 small bucket

1 bar of soap, grated

1 cup Borax*

1 cup washing soda*

*Found in cleaning supply section of your grocery store.

Instructions:

Mix all ingredients well in a bucket and store in a container.

Use 1/8 cup of powder per full load.
