March 2013 marks 10 years of America’s war in Iraq. Beginning in 2003, Americans were sent to Iraq by President Bush to stop Saddam Hussein from building weapons of mass destruction and to establish a democractic government. Since the beginning of the war, 4,488 American soldiers have died and 32,000 were wounded. On the Iraqi side, 190,000 soldiers and civilians were killed and almost two million refugees left.
